On June 28th, 2009 I am going to do it again!

Last year I ran for the first time in the Scotia Bank Vancouver Half-Marathon and 5K Run/Walk in support of the Alzheimer Society of BC’s team.  The tremendous support I received from my friends and family helped me to raise over $6,000 in donations for the Alzheimer Society of BC.   I am proud to mention that last year our team raised $33K ($5,000 was our prize for raising the most per participant).
Thanks again for the generous support.

As you may or may not know, my father has Alzheimer’s and this is a cause that is close to my heart.   This year, I am once again a member of a committee supporting the Alzheimer Society of BC’s team for the Scotia Bank Vancouver Half-Marathon and 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, June 28, 2009.  I’m volunteering my time to support this organization and join in on the run.  I hope you’ll take a few moments to consider joining or supporting our team by either joining the run yourselves and/or making a secure online pledge using your credit card to again help raise awareness for Alzheimer’s.   I would love to get your support for this cause.
